Operational Excellence Consultant
Are you a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with a passion for sales and customer success? Do you speak the language of manufacturing excellence and love helping companies transform their operations? We’re looking for someone who can bridge the gap between operational excellence methodology and technology adoption.
About the Role
As an Operational Excellence Consultant, you’ll be the critical link between our customers’ operational challenges and Juuste’s digital solutions. You’ll combine your deep expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement with strong consultative sales skills to help manufacturers achieve breakthrough results.
This role is similar to Mathieu’s position—you’ll be both a trusted advisor and a growth driver for the business.
What You’ll Do
Customer Engagement & Sales (40%)
- Lead discovery conversations with manufacturing leaders to understand their operational challenges
- Conduct on-site assessments and gemba walks to identify improvement opportunities
- Develop business cases showing ROI from implementing Juuste + operational excellence methods
- Drive new customer acquisition through consultative selling
- Present solutions to C-level executives and operations teams
Implementation & Success (40%)
- Guide customers through their operational excellence transformation journey
- Design and facilitate improvement workshops (VSM, kaizen events, A3 problem-solving)
- Help customers implement standard work and visual management using Juuste
- Coach operational teams on continuous improvement methodologies
- Measure and report on customer success metrics and improvement results
Thought Leadership (20%)
- Create content (blog posts, case studies, webinars) on operational excellence topics
- Represent Juuste at industry conferences and manufacturing events
- Build relationships with Lean/Six Sigma community and professional networks
- Contribute to product development based on customer insights
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (or equivalent expertise)
- 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing or operations experience
- Proven sales or business development track record in B2B environment
- Deep knowledge of Lean, TPM, World Class Manufacturing, or similar methodologies
- Excellent communicator in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
- Comfortable with technology and digital tools

- Explaining complex concepts in simple, actionable terms
- Balancing analytical rigor with practical implementation
- Managing multiple customer relationships simultaneously

- Experience in food, pharma, or discrete manufacturing industries
- Familiarity with MES, QMS, or operational excellence software
- Previous consulting or customer-facing role
- Track record of driving measurable operational improvements (OEE, quality, lead time, etc.)
